I was really bummed when the music stopped working on the PC version. I remember when it first happened when Windows XP was initially released.
Unfortunately, the download link seems to be invalid. Do you have a back up of the file?

Sorry about that. I've gone and corrected the link and it works now.
Welcome to the forum by the way!

Thank you very much, I am going to bring out my copy of the game and install it. Also, thank you for the welcome! I am glad that I have found this place! Edit: I have just installed the game and I am unsure if there is a certain folder you place the executable and video setup files. I tried placing them in C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\Frogger but it seems to crash the game on start up. It's been a few years since I have played this game and took a look at the files. lol

Replacing those files in that directory SHOULD do the trick. So the game didn't crash before putting them in, yes? Did you try messing with compatibility settings on Frogger.exe as well as the settings in VidSetup.exe? If anything, I'm not sure if the game has been re-released a few times either. That isn't something I've looked into.

The game seems to work just fine before I switched out the .exe and Video Setup files. After switching out the original files with the patches, the game crashed before it could properly start up. (No loading screen either.) I tried setting the compatibility of both files to Windows 95. When that failed, I tried Windows 98/Me and it crashed.
Do you remember any special settings or methods on how you got it to work?

I don't think I did anything special. I just replaced the files (while backing up original for safety) and that's that. Dunno if it helps, but with the patch installed my folder looks like this, note date modified in case something is different (aside from "Frogger video setup", no idea why the date was updated): Edit: I just noticed something on the disc. All the readmes of other languages say Version 1.1. The English version says 2.2. The other language readmes were written on 19-11-97, while the English 11-02-98. The readme in my installation folder, which contains all languages, says version 1.3 written on 11-02-98. I'm not sure what the version is going on here, but that's what I got. Posted by Froli.

Thanks so much dude! We just recently tossed our Windows 98 machine (Should have done it years ago), and this is exactly what I needed.
